3 Tanya Chua Nominations For 17th Golden Melody Awards

The nominations for the 17th annual Golden Melody Awards (金曲奖) have been decided. Tanya has garnered 3 important nominations along with some very prestigious competition. She is running in the following categories

Best Pop Album (最佳国语流行音乐演唱专辑奖 ) for Amphibian (双栖动物)
Best Producer (最佳专辑制作人奖)
Best Female Singer (最佳国语女演唱人奖)

Is this Tanya’s year? She has been nominated numerous times in past years, and this year is another strong showing for our favourite musician! I have a good feeling that she won’t be playing bride’s maid this year! In my opinion, Amphibian stands a strong chance of winning in the album category! Unless all these awards are fixed??)

Update: To the delight of TC fans everywhere, Tanya has won the coverted BEST FEMALE SINGER of the year award. Here are the pictures!

Another good news, Tanya had beaten Jolin in the Taiwan sales chart NO.1. For her first week album sales is fabulous !!!
